My name is Sammi Chng!
Currently, I am working toward being a concept artist and illustrator.My biggest obssession is learning, not just about art, but about anything.Art helps me put what I have learnt into something real, something that has my dna in it. Learning also allows me to solve creative problems, especially in the realm of concept art.

HOW TO SURVIVE: PUNK APOCALYPSE
Ever since news about the zombie apocalypse aired, this punk teenager has planned out his survival.
Balancing between anarchy, naivety and maturity gained through losses was an important goal when designing the props.
Below is the system that he has developed to continue surviving, spreading anarchy and hopefully one day finding his family through the havoc.
CASINO FIN
Casino Fin is equipped with exotic sharks and fishes, VIP areas, a hotel and a seafood restaurant built for
the richest few in cyberpunk Hong Kong who come to Casino Fin to win money from those that wish they were rich.
LUNAR
An insect conservation project, LUNAR, retains an airship crew to capture endangered insects,
transporting them to reserves all across the world.
Their aim is to continue maintaing and creating new reserves that serve as habitats for insects everywhere!
CYPRINUS TEGERE
The Cyprinus Tegere lives in the wetlands, hunting on the fishes, big and small.
This omnivore has developed several features that enables heat retension and escape from predators.
ONI GENERAL: PROPS
After losing her sister, Raon the Oni General spends all her time at the war table, planning for revenge.
When she feels lost, she visits her sister's grave, seeking for comfort and clarity.
JORMUNGANDR'S ROOM
In an alternate ending, the world serpent Jormungandr survives Thor's rage. Looking for peace,
he hides away in Jotunheim, disgusing himself as a giant like any other there.
DEI YUK
Alternate Hong Kong, with references to chinese hell, of which occupants roam the street during the night.
An exploration of a graphical approach to environment design.
NYX
A reimagined Nyx (from Hades), taking influences traditional Indian clothing and jewellry.
NAAFIRI
A reimagined Naafiri (from League of Legends), as a human, ready to hunt.
RYUMEI
Ryumei, a kirin, arrives in battle. With the help of her dragon and weapon, she plans to turn the tides of this war.
